Mitu

Mitu is a character who appears in Dream BBQ. She is one of the characters partying at the Purge Event. She is one of the characters that need to be interacted with to progress, the others being Bunrako-man and Heh-Ito.
Appearance
Mitu hangs upside-down by ropes from the ceiling, with one rope tied around her neck and another hanging her by her legs, which are a single yellow mass with a rounded top that has blood running down it. She has a yellow face with black markings on her nose and lower lip. Her arms are blue, and she has red hair, which is braided into pigtails. She wears a gray shirt and skirt, the latter having a green lining at the bottom and two pockets.
She is always accompanied by four pink spaces, which have scrolling letters and numbers above them, forming a specific four-letter word that she must use within her dialogue, with some of the letters freezing to hint at the random word. Whenever the word is guessed correctly, the letters turn green and spout confetti, but if not, they turn red. After getting the answer wrong too many times (around 5-6 times), the letter(s) in the spaces are replaced with blue skull-like figures that later split apart with red pupils.
If she does not use the correct word after a certain number of tries, her color scheme changes with the four letters around her replaced with the word "H-U-R-T" in the corners of the screen that flash into pink, blue, and green colors. The four letters in "H-U-R-T" have white limbs with white gloves and shoes (the "H" and "T" having eyes with black pupils), and they dance around. She spouts out a bunch of blood before coming back shortly after.
Personality
Mitu often has a sarcastic and humorous tone throughout her speech, joking with Ena by claiming that she is "the B-O-S-S" upon dropping in and mocking Ena for not having a good time at the Purge Event, despite Ena's evident pain. Throughout her dialogue, she guesses various four-letter words that appear alongside her, accentuating each of them until she gets stuck on one, becoming frustrated and giving in to "losing" her own game. Despite this, she quickly recovers to try again with a different word. Everytime she guesses a four letter word (whether its right or wrong), her voice has a slight echo effect.

Trivia
- Mitu is one of the few characters whose name was revealed through public preview text of Joel Guerra's Patreon, being shown on "ENA: Dream BBQ Preview 23".
Cultural references and inspirations
- Mitu's word-guessing gimmick and the fact she hangs from the ceiling may be a reference to the game hangman.
- Mitu's shape is based on a Tumi, a multi-purpose sharp tool used in several pre- and post-colonial Central Andean cultures. Her name is also simply the syllables in the word swapped.
