The Witches

The Witches are a group of witches named Linda, Laurel, Laura and Maude, who appears in the Uncanny Streets in Dream BBQ.
Appearances
All four of the Witches are elderly women who wear the same clothes, wearing pink cloaks, purple leggings and fingerless gloves, and tall, pink hats with yellow tassels. All of them also wear red lipstick and have small, angular eyes. Each of them can be distinguished by their hair color and earring shape:
- Linda, with olive green hair and yellow rhombus earrings.
- Laurel, with brown hair and red circle earrings.
- Laura, with dark green hair and blue triangle earrings.
- Maude, with purple hair and pink heart earrings.
They can look different when they transform. Linda and Laura can become green and corpse-like with spectral figures sprouting out of them. Laura can transform into a black cat with yellow eyes. All four can "die", melting to become a pile of clothes on the ground.
Personalities
Each Witch has a different personality.
Linda is often worried, quickly assuming the worst. When Laurel tells Ena that they saw Maude go into Seal House, Linda is quick to assume that their lost sister has already been killed.
Laurel is calm and reassuring, usually doing the talking for the whole group. Instead of panicking, she takes initiative and tries to get someone to find a solution, asking Ena if they can find Maude for them with the promise of a reward. However, she can be upset by the others interrupting her while she's coming up with said solution.
Laura is a bit more aggressive compared to the other Witches. She speaks with a booming voice and voices her complaints directly. In one scene, she threatens to crush two of the other Witches with a large rock.
Maude is kind and polite. She asks for help reaching her friends after she went looking for the Bathroom and is grateful when she is returned to them. She calls Ena her new travel companion and claims that Hoarder Alex is a "kind young man", despite his interactions showing otherwise.
Biographies
Linda, Laurel and Laura appear near the roundabout in the Uncanny Streets Bright, asking Ena to find their missing sister Maude. On the opposite side of the bridge, Maude can be found in a clock tower. After talking with Maude, interacting with the nearby crane initiates a minigame where the player moves Maude in a single direction until she either hits a building, flies off screen or reunites with her sisters. After talking with the reunited Witches, Laurel gifts Ena the Motherboard, and the Witches depart for the "evening eulogies".

Trivia
- The Witches were designed by Buchao.[2]
- Linda references Temptation Stairway in one of their lines, with Laura "getting that reference." This means that the Witches know of Season 1 Ena's misadventures.
- It is currently unknown how or why they know of them.
