The Humanboard is an item given to Ena by the Shaman in Dream BBQ.

It can be placed in the appropriate holes, where it will then grow into a staircase Ena can walk up. After some time, the staircase will disappear. This can also happen if Ena recalls it.

Overview

The item as it's received.

The Humanboard initially appears as the disembodied head of a man. This head can be planted into the ground, causing it to grow into a full human with a red suit, which then extends far away from the space it was planted in, forming a traversable platform. This gives the player access to normally inaccessible or hard-to-reach locations, typically ones that are too tall to reach.

The Humanboard is obtained by talking to the Shaman once Ena has the Motherboard, which is obtained from The Witches upon finishing the "HAVE YOU SEEN THIS WITCH?" questline. Once Ena has the Humanboard, the "LOOKING FOR A LIFE? I KNOW THE RECIPE!" questline will be completed.

Once the Humanboard has been obtained, the player can no longer use the Taxi Driver's taxi, thus making the dark side of Uncanny Streets and the Purge Event completely inaccessible for the rest of the playthrough, as a giant skull will now have crushed the taxi. To progress, the player must use the Humanboard to ascend toward the giant fetus across the Uncanny Streets bridge.

Usage

In the Uncanny Streets, bone patches that the Humanboard can be planted in are scattered throughout the area. In the main area, they can be used to get on top of several of the buildings. Across the bridge, the Humanboard can be used to ascend to the giant fetus above the gorge, starting a parkour segment where harsh winds blow Ena around as she uses the Humanboard to cross between floating islands.

In The Core, two parts of a broken bridge are present on both sides of the river, with both parts sporting the same bone patches seen in the Uncanny Streets. The Humanboard can be used on these patches to stretch over the river, giving the player a much easier way across.

In the Lost Village, inside Nonkey Jong's room, the player can plant the Humanboard into the gravestone next to Nonkey Jong, allowing the player to get over a wall. This grants access to a short hallway with a path blocked by coral. Behind the coral is a largely empty room with a dead tree and a single Mannequin.
