ENA Wiki Guidelines
Welcome, ENA Wiki User!
Before reading the general guidelines of the wiki, remember that we are a community! This wiki is a collaborative effort by many fans. We aim to create a community that is both fun and safe for fans of the ENA series. Feel free to add to the wiki and work with others if you believe something should be added, as long as that thing is productive and useful information that could help an article! If you are unsure about adding something, you may discuss it with an administrator or frequent editor who might know what you want to implement.
Below is a set of guidelines to keep in mind when editing this wiki. This list has been established to combat various problems that may face the wiki. It is highly recommended that all users, including administrators, read through the guidelines thoroughly.
Users who do not follow the general standards of the wiki may receive a notice or warning. If problems persist pertaining to a user's actions or their actions are seen as greatly disruptive, they may be suspended or blocked from the wiki.
ENA Wiki Guidelines
- No uploading Patreon-exclusive content. We have a strict policy of keeping Patreon-exclusive content off the wiki. Media that has been shown on Joel Guerra's official Patreon, such as images or GIFs, will only be posted to this wiki if they have been made public through some official means (Joel Guerra's Twitch, the ENA team's social media, a public post on Joel Guerra's Patreon, etc.). This media will also be reviewed by wiki staff to confirm if it has been posted or shown publicly. Already public aspects of posts, such as titles, post dates, and preview text snippets, are allowed to be documented and written about. If you wish to view Patreon content, please visit Joel Guerra's official Patreon and become a member to support the ENA team.
- Please be considerate and do not make personal attacks on others. If you disagree with someone, make sure to state your disagreement calmly and talk with the person you disagree with on their talk page. Do not use bigoted language, including slurs that degrade another person or group of people based on gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, etc.
- Also, do not harass other users. If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content or messages on their talk page, respect their wishes. It is their userspace.
- Be a productive member of the wiki. Please consider contributing to the wiki in line with the established processes and conventions. If you need help, you can ask an administrator! Posting article comments and engaging in on-topic talks and socializing are encouraged as well. Disrupting the wiki with arguments, edit-warring, or causing general disorder is not productive.
- Do not post distasteful content. This includes anything that is considered offensive (see Guideline #1) or NSFW/L (pornography, fetish art, gore, etc.). This wiki should be considered a safe space to look for content, and younger users may also come to the website, so keeping such topics off and away from the wiki is highly important.
- Assume good faith. Think of every user as a rational being attempting to help and contribute to the wiki. If you see a false statement or mistake, assume that the person who made the edit was simply misinformed or that it was an accident.
- If a user adds false information, assume that they thought it was true and discuss the edit on their talk page. If you have proof to prove that the information they added is false or contradicts other facts, kindly show it to them.
- Be patient with newcomers or users confused about what to do. They may simply want to help without knowing what to add or how to contribute, or they may be new to wiki.gg in general.
- Always assume good faith unless you have solid proof to the contrary. A user disagreeing with you or disliking you does not count as such proof.
- One account for one editor. Users found creating and using multiple alternate accounts (sockpuppetry) on the wiki will receive immediate blocks on all found accounts.
- Do not engage in excessive self-promotion. This wiki is a collaborative community resource for the topic at hand. It is not a free place to advertise your related or unrelated website, YouTube channel, social media, blog, wiki, etc.
- Do follow community guidelines for formatting. When a community has established formatting, it's important to adhere to that, especially when spoiler content is involved. This wiki's formatting standards are outlined in our editing guidelines.
Contacting Staff
It is important for users and wiki staff to have proper communication. Feel free to contact an administrator on their talk page if you have a problem, a question, or a proposition for the wiki that can improve it further!
Remember that all users are people too, and we have lives of our own, so we may not always be available to help. We can be busy, and the wiki is not always our number-one priority at times. However, we still strive to improve and update the ENA Wiki when we can!
