Angels

The Angels[1] are four elusive entities inhabiting the Lonely Door in Dream BBQ. They are heavily associated with the Bathroom of this world.
Appearance
The four Angels have in common a slim monochrome humanoid figure. Each is distinguishable by their head and color. The first has a copper hue and a spherical head covered by concentric beads/braids. The second is golden-hued with a semi-circular tor head hollowed sideways. The third has a pale yellow color with tiny spots of brown, and their head displays eyebrow arches, a nose, and braided hair. The fourth has a dark brown color, and two big sad looking eye sockets.
Overview
The Angels never communicate directly. However, they seem to be able to possess whichever entity that tries to pronounce or spell the word "Genie" around Uncanny Streets, replacing this word with "BATHROOM". This happens to Ena when in search of the Genie of these lands, leading to misconceptions. When this happens, her appearance glitches to show one of the Angels more or less subtly.
When Ena ascends to the Orb island in the ascension route, the Angels appear in person. They fly around the player from the moment they pass the circular rotating platform. On the last stretch, when the player reaches a pillar-gate with their Humanboard, the Angels stand in the air and dance on each side of the door.
They make their last appearance when Ena meets the Genie Theodora in the Bathroom. As Ena starts a trance-like dance, the Angels visually replace her in cycle. Then four white feathered wings deploy in their back and wrap them whole.

Cultural references and inspirations
- The heads and colors of the Angels are directly inspired by Venuses, which are prehistoric feminine figurines, with usually exaggerated sexual traits, found across Europe. They were made during the Paleolithic, making them the oldest artistic reference in the ENA series. The four Venuses in question are:
- The Venus of Willendorf, Germany
- The "Two-Headed Woman", one of the Venuses of Grimaldi, Italy
- The Venus of Brassempouy (the "Lady with The Hood"), France
- The Venus of Dolní Věstonice, Czechia
